As you know, B&MI SMS-Timing keeps on innovating. I would like to introduce you the Media Director software. In fact, the exact title of the newsletter should be 'Freedom to narrowcast', since the information you spread is targeted to your own audience. But let's not play too much on words, let's just see what it does.
This software works together with the HDTV Display software. Basically, it allows showing what you want, when you want, where you want! |

| Suggestions and ideas |
| The goal of using this software is to make your center come alive by providing additional information to your customers. Let's take an example to explain you how it can work: a karting center with 4 TVs.
3 TVs in the club house, 1 in the pit. It's Saturday evening and your center is full-house. You can decide to broadcast the following:
- TV club house 1: live timing of the karting sessions
- TV club house 2: promotions of your products and services, invitations to events
- TV club house 3: live football match (half-time: switch to the TV club house 2's signal)
- TV Pit: live timing of the karting sessions
This software can be run on the same computer as the HDTV Display's one. But you might need extra computers based upon the amount of signals you wish to display. We know the computers which can meet this need at a low price: the Ion nettop computers (for example, the ASRock Ion 330).
The Media Director does not represent extra cost for the HDTV Display users.

| 1- Pawel, can you introduce Poznan Indoor Karting and yourself to our readers? |
| Poznań Indoor Karting is a member of Worldkarts group. PIK, as we used to call it, has been established and started in 2006 in Poznań. Since that time we have been one of the top indoor karting centers in Poland, with a huge range of possibilities to develop. Our center is not only a karting track. We have been trying to develop our services to the maximum, in order to satisfy our customers 100%. Since 2008 we have extended our center with a mexican restaurant and LaserMaxx lasergames center. This way, we have become a fully sufficient organization that has evolved into the Entertainment Center that can cope with huge events for companies, birthday parties, family meetings, special events etc...
I am responsible for sales and marketing issues. My adventure with PIK has started in the very beginning of 2009, in January, to be exact. Frankly speaking, it is bit a pity that I didn’t start to work there sooner, as working there is a real challenge and a continuous development of your own personal skills.

| 2- What has been the strategy to become a reference of karting in Poland? |
All is about to co-ordinate 4 things:
- Environment: make sure that people can easily access your premises and are impressed about the looks
- People: make sure that you have professional people that are customer oriented
- Quality: high quality equipment with professional training and professional guidance from the moment they enter untill they leave again
- systems: have good supporting systems that give your karting track a profesionnal look.
Only then you will get a high customer satisfaction and people will even recommend their friends to visit your place. If people would "forget" to come back, then the e-mailings, organized by SMS-Timing are reminding them.

| 3- What kind(s) of events do you usually organize? |
| Mostly, we organize company events and all kinds of family events. Nevertheless, it is our aim to organize a regular karting league for our customers and a karting school for the youngest. |
| 4- What SMS-Timing's software do you use? What advantages do they bring? |
We use quite a lot of products from SMS-Timing, starting with Point of Sale, Kiosks, Office, HDTV Display, iNet and in the near future Virtual Garage.
I think I am not able to list all advantages, as there are so many. For example: full control over the organization, database building, simple, user friendly interface, click by click operating etc…

| 5- Why would you recommend SMS-Timing to other karting tracks? |
| Just look at the points above and you will know why! But there is one thing that I should really highlight: the support team! Whatever time it is, whatever we want – all is done. Some individual requests are not a problem at all for their IT team to implement. I know what I'm talking about, as we are quite a difficult and demanding customer! |

You can start the race from a distance thanks to the remote controls. This is also possible with your ventilation system. Slowing-down the go-karts is also an option. Input/output can be used to activate any electric device. |

| Lights |
| Connected to our software, the lights can be configured as you wish. For instance: green lights during the race, orange 30 seconds before the end and red when the race is over. When there is an accident, simply press a button on the remote control and the orange lights will be turned on. Of course, the lights can also be managed manually from the timing software. |
| Race |
| Although our Timing software can start several races automatically, you can now start them manually from distance. Very handy when you are next to your go-karts! |
| Ventilation |
| Too much CO² in your track area? Press a button to start up your ventilation system. No need to go to the control panel anymore! It's even possible to set up the system automatically through the box: x seconds before the race starts or stopping it after the race stopped. |
| Slow-down the go-karts |
| It's possible to activate or deactivate the pit lane sensor. |
